August Bish is a bassist, composer, and educator located in NYC. As an experienced performer and recording artist, August is passionate about representing his complex cultural heritage—he brings his unique sound everywhere he goes. Previously a fixture in major jazz communities such as Amsterdam, Dallas, and the Finger Lakes, August has performed and recorded with heavyweight jazz artists like Allison Miller, Steve Brown, Nick Finzer, and the One O’ Clock Lab Band.
